About the photographer
Linda has a fresh, artistic style of photography and always strives to capture a person's true essence and inner beauty. A previous pre-school teacher and professional newborn nanny, she adores babies and children. She specializes in Maternity, Newborn and Family sessions in the Capital Region and beyond.
Linda began Blue Iris Photography in 2008 and has been using her extensive experience with children, to help them feel comfortable, happy and engaged during sessions. It doesn't take long for a child's true spirit to shine through.
About the Studio
In 2011, Linda saw the karmic fruition of a long time dream in the purchase of an 1860's farm house in Ballston Spa, NY. With wide plank floors and 3 acres it was the perfect home/studio for Blue Iris Photography. The stars aligned again in 2018, when Linda added on a huge new state of the art studio addition. With amazing northern light and a 26 foot wall of closets and built-ins, there is now room for all of the newborn, dress-up and vintage props that Blue Iris Photography is known for.
